Engineered Wood Products

No matter the architectural challenge, we offer engineered floor, wall and truss packages. To achieve the correct structural integrity for your construction project, we can provide the needed assistance in designing floor systems, with I-joists to 40' stocked in all Building Center locations. We also have available pre-built panelized wall systems and roof systems to meet any architectural design.

Insulation and Ventilation Products

Preston Feather stocks an entire line of insulation products including fiberglass, rigid foam and blown-in cellulose. We also stock house wrap for proper ventilation along with many sizes and styles of attic vents.

Framing Materials

All Preston Feather Building Centers stock the best framing materials available. Stocks include standard lengths in 2x4 through 2x12, garage door headers, and window headers. We also supply all the materials needed in the construction of permanent wood foundations.

Sheathing

We carry a complete line of sheathing products from OSBs to interior and exterior plywood, siding, drywall, paneling and insulated sheathing.

Treated Lumber & Decking

Natural Select wood is made like traditional treated wood, in a pressurized cylinder using a closed system that recycles excess preservative for future use and releases no air pollutants nor wastewater. Unlike plastics, steel, and concrete, Natural Select wood's source is a renewable resource grown on managed timberlands. It requires less energy to produce than plastics and offers greater insulation value.

Select Cut® treated lumber is available in all the Building Centers. Stocked in standard and premium grade, 4x4, 4x6, 6x6 and many decking accessories. 5/4 decking is also stocked in cedar, with other wood species available through special order. Composite decking by TREX is stocked with other brands available by special order.

Paints & Stains

Preston Feather Building Centers stocks only the highest quality paints and stains. To assure you of an attractive and durable finish to your project, we carry complete lines of Olympic and Valspar products. Custom color tinting is available, at no additional charge.

Our Building Centers stock professional quality power tools by DeWalt, Porter-Cable, Paslode, Senco, and Delta. If a unique tool is needed, our Special Order process can quickly and conveniently fulfill your tool requirements. Select "in-store" staff is trained for repairs of Senco pneumatic tools. Other pneumatic supplies such as hoses and fittings are available at all Building Center locations. Saw blades, router bits as well as a complete stock of drilling and boring accessories are available at all three Building Centers. Roofing Materials

From new construction to roof replacement, we stock complete lines of products to handle your roofing project. We carry quality 3-in-1 and architectural grade shingles, cedar shakes and machine cut wood shingles. All Building Centers have extensive roofing samples from many different shingle companies. Also available are ice and water shield, metal roofing and a complete line of ventilation products. Aluminum flashing, soffit and fascia and an extensive assortment of sealants and fasteners assure you of a durably sealed roof system.

Siding

With so many types and styles of siding available for your project, Preston Feather Building Centers has a vast array of sources for wood, vinyl, fiber cement, hardboard, metal, plywood and half-log siding. We stock popular brands of fibre cement, vinyl siding, fir plywood siding and unfinished board lapsiding.
