Preston the Dog Thriving

The temperature was a mere 4 degrees. The dog was a victim of abuse and neglect and had been abandoned. Bob took the dog to Bay Pines veterinary clinic. The staff there named the dog Preston Feather and took very good care of him, nursing him back to health. Once his condition stabilized, Preston was taken to the Humane society for further care. A volunteer at the society, Carol-Ann, spent weeks hand-feeding Preston helping him get back to a healthy weight of 35 pounds; he had weighed 17 when he was found. Carol-Ann has since adopted Preston Feather. She stopped by recently with Preston, to report on his progress. He is a fabulous, calm and friendly dog who enjoys visiting the elderly at local retirement centers. After a near-death experience two years ago, Preston Feather is enjoying a happy life.
